Morning Musing

This morning I woke up with this question : “What is my role in the world in this challenging period of time?”
I have always felt that my role is not in the middle of the crowd shouting the injustices. There is one sentence very present with me during these last days, from Daje Aloh, “I am not here to fix the world.”
Then what is my role?
I am here to guide beings who are coming to me to remember that there is a realm beneath, below where the ocean is deeply grounded, dark and calm. I am here to remember that we all have this space within us and how being connected to this space can support our nourishment, inspiration and expansion.
I feel the Indian Goddess Chinnamasta very present now and how this goddess’s teaching is so important for our preservation. There are many stories around this Goddess. What is important to know here is that She is standing on a copulating couple, She is charged with the Eros/Life force/sexual energy of the copulating couple.

She drinks this Eros, she is fed making her able to cut her head to nourish her starving attendants and she also drinks her own blood. So she is nourished twice by the Eros energy of the couple and by her own blood. During my last retreat, I received the insight that I have to be nourished twice, as she is before giving my energy so that it is springing from a well of compassion for the beings I am guiding and for myself.
How are you giving in your relationship, your family, your work, your activism, your art, …?
Do you nourish yourself every day by having moments of silence, of pleasure out of the hectic noise of what is happening in the world? It can be only a few minutes in the morning, waking up earlier, having a practice, a moment connected to our solid composting and ever birthing Earth , a moment of meditation, a moment admiring a beautiful tree or flower before giving care to your child, your work and being an activist if this is your karma.
There are many ways of having an active role in the world. It can be through action by your speech, through your work, by descending in the street, by screaming and not silencing the injustices in a different way, Rightfully so.
Look at Gandhi’s way of acting. There is a lot of controversy around him but we can not deny that he had an impact to liberate India from the British empire.
There are many ways impacting the different frequencies our reality is made on. There are the visible layers, the one we can see in our reality. Like the ocean, there are also unseen layers that are contributing to the gross vibration at the surface.
I believe that a moment of stillness out of the noise of even just one person is impacting the collective vibration and contributes to the rise of the frequency of the entire reality we are living in.
Then, it is also about remembering that Ancient Hindu texts and many other ancient traditions predict this time as a time of degeneration, the Kali Yuga. Kali as the degeneration and destruction, Kali who destroys with her sword for the sake of Love, what is true and just, Kali who destroys the veils of the illusions and the egoic actions, such as domination, oppression, colonization.
Finally it is good to take a step back and to remember that each civilisation has known a birth, expansion and decline, British empire, Roman empire. So now we are at the end of a realm, something is destroyed for something else to come. This is the inherent cyclical pace of our reality, such as the seasons with a moment of fall, the period we are in before the death of the winter for the spring to come. Ancient wisdom was aligned with the cyclical earth wisdom. Let us remember that.
There is a moment of death. Before death, there is the hectic energy, the old trying to stay alive creating hectic energy and tension we are in.
When we remember this cyclical aspect of our existence which is part of the Feminine Wisdom and the story of humanity, when we remember that the depth of the most agitated ocean is also still and we can have some moments in it to permeate and regenerate our cells, our living reality can be different.
Going back down into the depth of the Ocean, we feel more rested for our life and actions, we are not overwhelmed, drained, paralysed by the chaos prevailing in the world, we can act while having energy and not from a place of deprivation and exhaustion, we can tap into hope, we can access the fertile imagination of our psyche, containing the collective wisdom, to inspire our actions and we can also see that there is a beauty coexisting with the chaos, inherent to the chaos itself, we can sense that there is a perfection in what is unfolding now.
So, for a daily moment, stay in Presence in the depth of the calm ocean, feel and send your roots down down into the Earth to give a rest to this poor mind of yours so much bombarded.
If you have a womb, anchor your Loving Presence in your womb, let your grief melt and be alchemized into her potent portal of regeneration. If you are an activist, I can’t stress this enough : have your moment to rest, regenerate your being, stay attuned with the ever prevailing beauty which is always here, in a flower, a moment with your friends, children and beloved, rest rest and then act. This is also about being again attuned to the homeostatic equilibrium regulating each living system, beating the pulse of the cosmos and the dance of creation for the regulation of your nervous system.
